Manitoba’s leading accredited online high school, InformNet is proud to celebrate over 25 years of innovation and excellence in digital education. As the province’s first official virtual high school, we provide a flexible, accessible learning experience for students across Manitoba.
Our Mission
InformNet is committed to delivering high-quality online education that empowers students to take charge of their learning. Our self-paced courses allow students to receive daily instruction, complete assignments, and participate in assessments through our interactive Brightspace platform. Certified Manitoba teachers facilitate every course, offering the guidance and support students need to succeed.
Who We Serve
InformNet welcomes all Manitoba high school students, including those enrolled in public schools, funded independent schools, registered homeschooling programs, and adult education. We work closely with students, parents, and schools to ensure a seamless, supportive online learning experience. Upon successful course completion, students earn credits that are recognized and awarded by their home schools.
Our Legacy
The name “InformNet” reflects our dedication to integrating technology with educational excellence. Since our inception, we have partnered with school divisions to expand access to high-quality digital learning. In September 2016, InformNet became Manitoba’s first fully accredited virtual high school, setting a new standard for online education in the province.
Our Impact
Today, InformNet supports over 3,200 student enrollments annually, offering a full range of high school courses required for graduation. With a dedicated team of 13 full-time teachers, we continue to provide an innovative, student-centered learning experience that fosters academic success.
More than 97% of our students choose InformNet’s flexible, independent-study courses to complement their traditional education, helping them achieve their goals at their own pace.
